As a project for the Visual Analytics class, I built different interactive visualizations to solve the VAST 2008 mini challenge 1. The problem focused on identifying the different factions of a political movement based on wikipedia edit logs of users. I built different visualizations that help identify different key words of interest and build a conflict network based on them. The conflict network is an interactive visualization which identifies the players in all the factions including wikipedia bots and neutral users. This conflict network can be used to analyze any type of conflict and on different types of text data like tweets, code repository commits, etc.
